so i goes over to visits my sister today at about noon and was surprised to see my nephew sitting on the couch! i then asked my sister why is Dude(that's what i call my nephew) home and not at school? she tells me that she and her mother thought it would be best if he stayed home to watch the ceremony... Now i was not by any stone thrown close to being an even moderately good student, but for a six year old to be allowed to stay home and watch something that he don't give two left fire trucks about, to me, is just stupid! maybe i'm getting too old too soon, but when i seen kids in high school, walking around the streets at noon, i wanted to tell them to take they're asses to school(DAMN NEVER THOUGHT I'D SAY THAT)! but maybe i am getting too old! someone please help me understand a justified meaning behind this. would you pull your child out of school on one of the "most important days for black people"?

lets start this story at well the start saturday we had a lil cook out over Dame Dye's crib somthing small Family and Friends type of deal and we started out at 7:oopm

[me and wendys getting there at 7:00p on the dot when the fire just got started :( ]

fast forward a lil bit and its about 10:00p and me and Juice grab some ping pong

(yes yes we have been watching tooooo much olympics we heard that joke all night)

Fast Foward some more to about 2:30Am at this point we got some good food in us and STARTED drinking lol so Juice tells Dame "lets play some monopoly"

(why dame look like a fakee mos def right there) in the hatt lol

So Me, Juice, Dame, and Jon (blue shirt) start playing... fun right.... we thought so too...

so the Olympics are half way over (i think [hope] lol) and i have been hooked maybe a lil tooo hooked to the point where i have seen every sport that has aired so far... some good, some wack, and some just ODD

lets get bad out the way first:

Baseball - Now I loveee baseball alot but without major league its just blah wouldn't it be dope to see the pros on the real biggest stage in the world not just the "world series" (on another note why are all American sports world champs like.... lol that will be another blog for another day)

Archery - I dont know its just whack darts would have been better!

Equestrian - I mean i guess it takes skill but nah, now maybe if the horses did it on their own i would watch that!

Triathlon - it made too too damm tired just watching it

Weightlifting - one chick turned me on so its bad lol

Boxing - just wack

GOOD

Judo - hott chicks! ( she is so sexi kickin ass!)

Swimming - Phelps

Basketball - Pros kickin ass!

Diving - I like spring board but the platform was kinda wack

Soccer - Only bad is the world cup is way more important

Once they'd cut open the tire, officers discovered 14 tightly-wrapped plastic bags full of multi-coloured pills, as well as five bags containing "an off-white pasty substance" that turned out to be methamphetamine.

Smith said the total weight of the pills was 23.9 kilograms, with an estimated street value of $3.6 million.

soooooooo...the brothers decided to take a trip to the windy city...but let me tell you how this all came about...

it all actually started thursday night when a friend asked us if we were down for a road trip to the windy city...so us being the random mofo's we are gave him the big HELL YEA...and kept it moving...so friday comes and all is good on the brothers end...we are packed and waiting to go...

and this is where it starts to get fun...

while waiting on the other people that were in on this trip to come from the club...the brothers decided to get some grubbage...so we went to our old faithful...AMERICAN CONEY ISLAND...and while in there we seen some of the funniest things...she-mans, bums, whack ass dudes, whack ass girls that couldn't read...man o man that place never lets us down...

we're now gonna fast forward a tad... the original people who came up with the idea canceled... but that wasn't stopping us!

clock in the aspen reads 5:32...but by this point we had been on the road for about a hour now...after the stop @ the gas station to get a couple red bulls and other energy drinks we set out on the road...94 straight into chicago!

navy pier was close so we went there to do what all people do 1st thing in the morn...PISS LIKE A CHAMP! (sorry so blunt but hey...thats me)...after the pier we went to the city and took care of some necessities!

as some of you know (or may not know)...I have a son on the way the
beginning of august...Damon Lamont Dye III...don't get me wrong...I'm
excited as ever but I am also scared as all hell...every part of me
knows I am going to be a great dad...I know what to do and when to do it
but until now its all been theory...soon I will have to make it all a
reality...diapers...bottles...sleepless
nights...crying...burping...baths...all these things will be a part of
my daily routine...
